Belonging

I belong the most with the sports teams i play on. I just feel so comfortable there and we all have a common relation, the sport we are playing. I dont find it hard to get along with people just people frustrate me sometimes and i just get along better with my friends from sports teams. Even just my friends in general make me feel very comfortable because i know they are my friend and we always have fun at parties sports games dances, school events etc.

True Colours

I thought it was kind of boring to be honest especially because i had already done that in careers and knew my colours. I wasnt surprised that i was an orange because of my outgoing personality, but i also feel it is a good thing to know about yourself so you can adjust to having to work with other colours. Like all teachers are gold. I am an orange, orange and golds clash so i have to find a way to make that work.

Violence prevention Workshops

I went to a grade 11 law class and it went fairly well. I wish there was a few more kids that were more into it than they were but it went pretty well. I enjoyed learning about this and it will definitely make me watch out for it more. I think we do these things so we are aware of what an abusive relationship actually is so we can identify one if we see it. I feel that video was probably the best way to approach a teenager about that kind of thing because kids will watch a movie and be fine but if we have to sit through a boring presentation it kills us and we dont care.

halloween week

i feel that the haunted hospital went fairly well but i would have found a way so things could move a little faster because alot of people didnt get in on the first day. The weekly events on the other hand did not go that well. There was a lot of arguing and disagreements about getting things done. It could have went better and with more organization i think it would have.

status through playing card game.

I was a seven and it wasnt terrible but i wouldnt of wanted any less of the attention that i got. People acknowledged that i was there but didnt really want to be buddy, buddy with me. I didnt feel too upset about it i knew it was just a game and we did it so you can know the feeling of not being accepted into something and how that must feel. This was a very good exercise for a class of leadership students because it is a push to help people fit in and it would be a great deed for a leader to do.

Poor and Rich

a) $500
- if i was given $500 i would put it in the bank and put it towards a truck.

b) $5000
-if i was given $5000 i would buy a vehicle right away so i have it for when the drivetest strike comes off.

c) $5000000
-if i was given $5000000 i would definitely give a large mount of money to a charity or a cause like free the children. I would spend some but save as much as i could for the future inbetween giving money to friends and family.

Randy Pausch

That story was a heart breaker. Like the poor man had just months to live and he was taking his time to tell people about life and about how you should live it at the fullest. It was one of the most inspirational things i have ever seen in my entire life it actually lifted my day. Like i could be like that guy who feels like a million bucks but is actually dying on the inside.

Fall Clean up

I went to fall cleanup with tommy at my grandmas house. We did an excellent job and got a really delicious breakfast for it. overall it was a success and we had fun in the process

Erin Gruell

In the freedom writers i feel Erin Gruell (Ms. G) is the definition of a true leader. She went all out for these kids. She took not only time out of her career but even her personal life just to get through to these kids who she thought needed help. When being a true leader your heart definitely has to be their with you. There is no question about it that Ms. G's heart was completely into helping out these kids. She sacrificed her marriage just for these kids and to help these kids more. It was a really good story and i enjoyed it.

Stair Climb Door to Door

I feel that more people would go if you didnt have a certain amount that you had to raise. I feel that every dollar counts and it should be about helping out and participating in the walk not just about the competition part of it. Even if not everybody did not raise $25 i bet there would be way more kids going and probably the same result money wise because of the increase in students.

Stair Climb Door to Door

Attitude

I felt that the technology video was absolutely crazy. It was very interesting and i just couldnt believe the facts that came out of that video. It was amazing the things that have changed throughout the years and everything that is happening at this very moment and we wouldnt know the difference.

J-mac

Watching this video was like a complete proof that maricles do exist and even the impossible can happen. A boy with a mental dissability has been watching all his peers play this game and he just gets to manage the team. The coach finally asks him to play in a game and he scores points way in the double digets. It was absolutely magical for a child with such hopes and dreams become a star and feel important for just one night.

the world values survey

i was very surprised to find out that nigeria was the #1 for happiest country. Thinking about it now i would be miserable if i had nothing. But that is because i was born into a home where i know i could always grab clean water from the tap and food from the fridge it has never been an issue for me. So if that was taken away i wouldn't know what to do with myself.

the canadian flag.

I think the group i was in had a very good motivation and teamwork to get the project finished. I noticed we also had alot of creative ideas, like when making the flag. It was initially a challenge for myself just thinking how are we going to make this with hands, but then realizing the other rules of the task.

Me to We and what it means to me

Me to We means taking all the little things that could make a change and taking those little things to create something unimaginable. Last year IDCI built a school in Sierra Leonne. Like who would of ever thought just a little high school in the small town of ingersoll could do such a great thing. Me to We means helping out people who werent as fortunate as us to get born into a good home with food and clothes on our back.
