Victor Frankl's Words of Wisdo,
Victor Frankl was put in to the holocaust and concetration camps and after it was all over he didnt want revenge he kind of wanted peace. He said you can choose your own way which means just because everyone else was so ticked off about this doesnt mean he has to be, he wanted yo make the best out of the rest of him life because his was almost put to an end because of the Nazis. If he could do that i believe any human could be as forgiving and happy to be alive as he is. If he was to fight back after all that peace would be broken again and that was not what was best for the situation.
The left handed handshake
The left handed handshake is an interesting thing, especially for me considering im a lefty myself. The idea of this is that sure it feels weird at first to shake with your left hand but after a while you get used to it. Just like other things, if you cut down to 1 or even 2 coffees in the morning instead of your usual 3, you save that 2 dollars or whatever it costs and you could save up that money every day to put towards me to we or the food bank or any good cause you can think of. All habits can be broken they just need to be overcome by new better habits.
Blog # 38 Minga
I dont actually remember a circumstance when i was involved in a Minga. But i do know what it means. Its when something needs done and everyone in your group or community stops what their doing and comes to help with the situation. I dont think we have enough of that kindness and generosity in our world today. Atleast not in this nation. Canada and the US have really enough money that if we cant get something done we pay for it with our wallets and credit cards. I think we could learn alot from those developing countries who really dont have the money to do that sort of thing and actually have to rely on their hands and hardwork to get the job done.

Active Listening
My best example of having a conversation with someone and knowing they dont actually care and werent listening was with my crazy aunt. She is the kind of person that asks you a question and in the middle of answering that question she changes the subject. This christmas holiday she asked me a question anns i started to answer and she looked away at everyone else and had no idea what i was saying. if your going to ignore someone aleast make it less obvious and actually look at the person when you are talking to them. We dont visit my aunt to often.
Oprahs Story
I am not actually a huge fan of oprah but i do feel she does have a big heart. She had a rough child hood growing up and being the billionaire she is today i think it is safe to say she does a lot of good around the world. But i believe there would be a lot of people out there that would do the same generous acts like Oprah if we all had that kind of money. Everyone contributes what they can and she can just offer a lot more than other people which is still a fantastic thing.

I dont think idci really has a lot to learn. Maybe certain students but all together as a majority we have done very well with spreading me to we and being the change. Last year our school raised enough money to build a school and pay for a years salary for teachers. To me that is very impressive, but i think we need to spread that beyond free the children and help with anything we can around the world. I think we all need to learn about the world issues we have on this planet and we need to do something about it. Monarch Park is definitely a great example from that and i think idci has the power to follow in those foot steps.

I admire kims story the most because just like craig she was just a young girl who got inspired but something small and turned it into a huge thing. For a girl to spend four years researching and getting people to sign her petition, that is commitment to a real cause and that is something to be proud of. Not only did she alert the minds of others around her but she even began to make her future out of helping people. There is not a lot of people that would do that sort of thing in this world today, and i think this story deserved extra special attention.
